The Journalism diploma program at Algonquin College taught students to be complete journalists, comfortable and adept at reporting on all news platforms. In September 2017, I was awarded an honourable mention for the Integrated Project Team's work on implementing the ILMS-SABA, issued by Employment and Social Development, a government agency associated with the Government of Canada.
The Canada Millennium Scholarship Foundation was a private, independent organization created by an act of the Parliament of Canada in 1998. In September 2001, I was awarded a $3,000 Canadian Millennium Scholarship through the Ontario Student Assistance Program to pursue further post-secondary education in interactive multimedia and design at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.
